    Kit better than advertised! It's all there, and in excellent condition. Almost all parts still on parts trees & decals still in good shape. Kit was very carefully packaged, both inside and out. Seller went to a great deal of trouble to ensure the kit arrived in best possible condition. I can't recommend this seller highly enough. I would buy from him/ her/ them again WITHOUT hesitation. Excellent communication too, by the way!!

    Typewriter was very well shown in photographs, (thank you!) and, on reciept, there were no surprises of condition. The purchase price = great-the shipping cost (maybe set by ebay-I should have asked) was too steep, I think, I have since seen the same machine shipping for $60 or so. My fault for not asking. The machine was well-packed with empty boxes taking up extra space, and the machine was protected from packing peanuts, :-\ by a plastic garbage bag. Got here safely at 40#! Good transaction.

    Well packaged. Chain on side was broken. Seller mentioned that in his ad on eBay. Took me two minutes in my tool drawer to find appropriate screw and screwdriver and one minute to fix it. So definitely as described. And price was great, too. My Grandmother had one very similar and so did Atticus Finch in the kitchen in the movie To Kill a Mockingbird. So a great piece of Americana.
