I didn't install the fan sensor yet. The only problem with the product was that the connector would not fully clip into the temperature sensor. They would not properly mate and were not designed for each other. I was able to make it work with a slight modification though.

Needed to replace connector because the red and green wired ripped off the connector. After that, engine light was on and my code reader was giving me the P0118 code. Anyways after installing the coolant temperature sensor with the new connector, the P0118 code was gone and the engine light was gone too. I feel like this was a really good purchase for myself.
