Parts of the box were pieced together with different cardboard.All the Styrofoam was busted into little tiny pieces. There was minor damage however after it was inspected it did not affect performance. Communication was rapid but, appeared to be canned. They did offer to let me return the fireplace for a full refund and return shipping included. I feel that their responses could have been more personalized. A little misleading
