The sole is narrow, so it took me a bit of time to keep from twisting my ankle. That said, the sole has cushioned the blow of many rocks and sharp pebbles on the trail. Shoes are tight at first wear, but the stiffness gives way to comfort after about a week ish of use. Comparable to Hokas in build and performance, for half $. Looks are just fine, the fluorescent accents are a nice touch lol. That said, i would buy these again!
