Most utensils on come in black plastic (which melts and scratches over time) but Purple is my favorite color. AND the wooden handles give them a classy look. The only thing is that the Holder for All the utensils is lightweight plastic. Also even though it's a lighter weight it's got a Flat wider base than the shape of the Holder. Because it's been sitting on the middle of my stovetop for 2 days +hasn't fell over Yet. Highly Recommend them
