    Good value for an average marine boat speaker

    This purchase was a unit for unit swap for old speakers that were in the boat i bought. They wend into the original cut-outs effortlessly and powered up without issue. They are of acceptable sound quality but represent a good value for the price -- cheap. They probably wouldn't impress an audiophile but I am happy that they have nice sound driven by an "ok" stereo system..

    If you can get them cheap then you'll do alright.

    This is my second pair within 3 boating seasons. The cone will become brittle and crack within about 3 years, and then you need to replace them. I buy them when they're on sale and replace them because they fit in the holes already cut on my boat console. They work alright, but you aren't going to be blown away by the sound.

    Good value, quality and sound.

    Have not had a chance to fully use these but when hooked up to my old receiver they sound a ton better than my 20 year old stock speakers. Will be buying a new head by spring and will know for sure then. Quality is Sony so it is good. As a bonus, the mounting holes lined up with my existing ones.

    Great Speakers but do not last long.

    They sound very nice. Great quality but do not last in the weather. We get 2 seasons out of them. Buy them on sale and replace them as we are pre-drilled for them. Great product but a bit pricey for how long they last.
