Although this was not listed as an authentic Hunt Slonem piece, I was able to have the piece authenticated by Hunt Slonem‘s assistant, and it is indeed a fake painting. His assistant wrote that there are many pieces coming from Peru with false signatures and to avoid the purchasing of a piece that is not authenticated first.
