    While waiting for the 3V Laredo bowie...

    Apart from weight and the textured handle, this is a very well made replica/trainer for the Laredo bowie. It is stiff and tough enough to deliver very painful and potentially injurious strikes, so care must be taken when using it in sparring. Otherwise, it is very good for fooling around and can let you have an idea of the general size/feel of the real thing before you splurge on one.

    Great trainer

    Great training knife good for practicing disarms. Very solid but you will need padding for sparing. They can cause some injuries with out padding. But I love it. Totally awesome.

    it’s not the exact same feel as my cold steel frontier 1917 bowie, but it Gives a good feel for a blade like that. It’s a definitely a good training tool.
