    I am truly a coffee snob ...I normally spend $6 a day on a cup of amazing fair trade coffee at a locally owned coffee shop , Heine Brothers , no big box coffee shops for me ..I have owned many different brands of home,brewing systems , none of which could make even a decent cup of coffee , despite using the best freshly ground beans ...Only a frech press could satisfy my taste for good coffee ... After much research I decided to give this Brand and Model a try , Easy to use , Makes a very good , hot cup of coffee ...If your like me a want a strong , smooth , steaming hot cup of coffee in less than 5 minutes This is the machine for you ...Very easy to set up , and clean ...Love Love Love this machine and will never buy any other brand from here on out ....

    Don't waste your money on this piece of junk!

    The coffee maker brews quickly but the coffee isn't hot it's warm. There's no hot plate to keep coffee hot and for all this money I would expect a better product. This was a open box purchase so I can't return it. I will be throwing this piece of junk into the garbage! This was a complete waste of money!!

    Little mighty mite

    Although 5 cups seems small Bonavita little power house cranks out the watts to deliver a consistently great cup of coffee. Even hot temperature water makes the difference in the final product thanks to 1000 watts of power. Great product, even better design.

    Makes a delicious cup of coffee comparable to a pour over

    My only negative review of Bonavita 5 cup brewer is that the coffee doesn’t stay hot for very long despite it being a thermal carafe. (Even after preheating carafe with hot water). One has to drink coffee promptly. I love the grind presoaking feature of this machine. Makes a really excellent cup of coffee.

    PRO: Makes good tasting coffee. Pleasant aesthetic design. Compact and short enough for under the counter use. Stainless steel thermos carraff pot works better than expected. CON: filter and pot configuration a little clumsy.
