The Burris Scout is intended for mounting before the ejection port of a rifle. The waterproof rifle scope employs a heavy plex material for the reticle, and targets can be locked in quickly for a shot on a moving object. The lens on this Burris rifle scope is coated multiple times for strength and durability, including a red coating for increased accuracy. The 20 mm objective lens also offers 2.75x magnification. Furthermore, steel-on-steel mechanisms are built for longevity. The base of the Burris Scout features a 1-inch tube that is filled with nitrogen to lock out moisture. This Burris rifle scope is also fog proof and shock proof. Moreover, an adjustable field of view gives users of this waterproof rifle scope options to adjust the dimension for different size targets for an accurately centered shot. It weighs only 7 oz and is designed to maintain the general balance of the rifle it is mounted on. Overall, this basic Burris rifle scope works well for young hunters and beginners as it offers easy adjustments and acute accuracy.
