      try to find an alexa powered portable wireless (i.e., battery powered) speaker better than this for $50!

      I bought one on Prime day for about $50 shipped and fell in love with it and wanted another one and found this on eBay. I have a Sonos with Alexa, which sounds amazing, but needs to be plugged in. This is a great, inexpensive, portable, AC/DC, great sounding Alexa speaker. I don't understand why it isn't more popular, given the 10 hr battery and all the features. easy to pair bluetooth, easy wifi setup, the Alexa app makes things simple.

      Great device that Amazon shoud have Never abandonded!

      To start the sound quality is excellent. I was expecting something much closer to the 1st gen echo but this has much deeper lows and I only with that with three speakers you could have some sort of basic equalization through the Alexa App. Also what can I say other that it is portable. So far the built in battery has supplied well over 8 hours of continues music for me via Wi-Fi. Now I can only assume if you are using it as a Bluetooth Speaker battery life with shorten but I am very impressed and actually surprised that Amazon removed this from the Alexa line up. The best feature of all is it replace my echo gen 1 and I can keep using that in another room and with the latest update it responds just like the Echo does by saying "Alexa", which I prefer.

      Easy and convenient

      The feature rich product is conveniently portable. The speaker quality is good. Unfortunately the translation/interpretation within the Alexa cloud is not the greatest, in particular the selection of steaming radio station.

      Best purchase made. Best thing I like is that it’s portable and the battery life is very reasonable. Another practical idea is when there a group of wanting to talk to a family member that couldn’t make to a family gathering, we sit around the table, Set the TAP in the middle and we can all have a conversation, at night I can have Alexa play some easy listening music after a hectic day.

      Love my tap!

      I already had a tap upstairs but wanted another for downstairs. I love that I can pick it up off the charging cradle and take with me anywhere, like to the shower, kitchen, laundry room, back yard, or anywhere within wifi range and never miss anything I'm listening to: music, podcast, news, audio book etc.
