      Hard On Antennas

      I own a pair of Uniden 436HP digital scanners. I have owned several antennas. One was the old RS 800 megahertz antenna. I have owned around 12 of these. All of these have gone south due to what I believe to be poor construction. So, I ordered another brand from Scanner Masters, SMA, with gain. I bought two of these. This was an incredible antenna, but if you let it drop or fall over, a shaft positioned toward the base would break and reception would go south. This wide-band SMA antenna has been working very well.

      Great Antenna

      I bought this antenna for my Uniden BCD436HP handheld scanner. It fit on my scanner perfectly I was able to tune in more channels with this antenna than the stock antenna that came with the unit. I like it.
