      The item was as described. The item arrived in good condition and was carefully wrapped...to a point but in my opinion for the high value of the item and the type of item (a rifle scope) it should have been further packaged in a box. I will assume that the seller did not have a proper size box that he should have had and spent time and effort trying to protect the item with pieces of cardboard plastic wrapped to prevent bending. In my opinion it was insufficient and he (and I) got lucky.

      I certainly appreciate your feedback; after shipping over 2000 firearms, scopes, and accessories, as an FFL dealer, I have never had an item damaged, except a rifle stock that cracked after being driven over by a forklift at UPS. Luck has nothing to do with it.
