    Solidly Made

    After using this slicer a few times, I find that it is no light-weight flimsy product. It has a nice hefty feel and is easy to adjust for thickness of slices. The additional wire is a bonus. It would be nice to have a way to hang it (i.e. a hole or tab on the handle) but it is a solidly made device.

    Great product for thinner cheese cuts

    I had a stainless steel cheeseboard slicer I didn't like because the cheese slid as I was slicing. I'd had a handheld previously and decided to go back to that. This product looks and feels great, it's sturdy and feels comfortable in the hand. It even came with an extra slicing wire. The only drawback is that you can only adjust it to a maximum of less than 1/4" thickness and I usually prefer my slices to be a bit thicker than that.

    Top quality, easy to use

    Very solidly built slicer. First few slices didn't go so well until I figured out the wire was too loose, and a quick tensioning with a small phillips screwdriver solved the problem. Comes with a replacement wire, thankfully. Did an excellent job at cutting slices off a block of crumbly cheese that would collapse under a normal knife, which is what I got it for.
