    Good nozzle, but doesn't fit all cans

    Several years ago I purchased a Scepter gas can that came equipped with a nozzle of this design. The nozzle failed, so I bought this one to replace it. However, this new version is molded slightly larger than the original and not only does it not fit inside the mouth of the gas can for storage, but it also also does not fit through the cap that came with the can. The threads of the cap provided with this new nozzle do not exactly fit the threads of the can, causing the green spring mechanism to hang up and the unit to seriously leak when pouring. So, although the unit is well-made and may fit new cans, it did not work for my old can. Thus, a three-star rating.

    Terrible design, many flaws!

    very flimsy design. will stick inside any opening you try to pour anything into. hook used to keep nozel in place, hangs up on lip and if not extremely careful, will easily come apart and can NOT be reassembled. FAR TOO COMPLICATED AND FLIMSY! one must apply extreme pressure to disengage lock for pouring and WILL cause the tip to stick and cause nozzle to come apart.

    FITS

    It's a gas spout. Its the only one I could find to fit Briggs and Stratton. The internal vent works better them other makes. As in all satisfied.

    Company is out of business, stock up.

    This is pretty much the only place to find these at a REASONABLE price. The last spout shot down my riding mower's tank, so I needed a replacement. Bought four for my six cans seeing the manufacturer closed all its doors in May of 2018. My spout went for its ride down the mower tank in June as luck would have it, and had to scramble for a replacement. Of course, here is were I ended up.
