    I bought these to set a new wedge in an antique hammer that I inherited from one of my grandfather's. It was great to have a choice between three sizes and even though I thought the middle size would work perfectly it turns out that only one single small one needed to be used. The metal wedge was easy to drive in and stayed in place even after treating the entire handle and head with boiled linseed oil.
