They work up to 900mA, not 1 A .. but suffice to power a load up to about 250 mA, beyond which they seem to overheat. Surprisingly, they regulate well at close to 5V throughout the useable load range .. better than most. As suspected, these do not meet safety isolation requirements .. creepage too close, and isolation tape between aux and sec windings is missing. No Apple handshake.

However, the package was shipped out as a first class package and not ground advantage. Therefore we had to pay $5.05 to the mail carrier to get the package. This was supposed to be free shipping. The seller did refund the entire amount after being told of the issue at least. This purchase still gets positive feedback despite that issue!
