    Water Retainer

    A simple plastic check valve that eliminates the water in the dishwasher drain. Cheap, easy to install and long lasting. Use the OEM one for a few bucks more to be sure. Mine OEM GE lasted over 10 years, not sure if the knock-off could do the same.

    Works but...

    The piston works great but the nut i had to use old one, the new would not start in the hole. Thankfully it comes apart and was able to swap them. Sometimes oem parts are just the way to go

    Fix your old stuff.Don't throw it out.

    Old part was deteriorated but easy to change out with this relatively inexpensive new part that works as it should.
