I am not an expert regarding "converting firewire connectivity to USB" but anyone who says they sell an item that does so, should be able to do so, so when this very low cost connector did not allow me to hook my firewire hard drive to my USB computer, I could only deduct that it didn't work as advertised. Too low cost to return.

Theft investigation was created with Postal service and investigation determined I was not at fault and that the package never made it to my mailbox!!! Seller insisted that because the delivery service indicated that it was delivered that it was actually delivered and IT WAS NOT DELIVERED!!! I tool the time to wrote to USPS, EBAY & the seller to implement an investigation. SELLER WAS RUDE.

The item arrived only a day later than I anticipated but it was part of a Mother's Day gift, so I had to scramble and order a quickie from Amazon. This seller is OK and they will communicate when you have a question. It would have been better if I could have tracked the shipment.
