    Two way splitter

    the way it formats when it splits is not all that good in my opinion. it does it with black bars on top & bottom, and please don't tell me its a setting on my tv´s, because its not.

    Does not work for its stated purpose

    I bought this connector because I have 4 devices but only 3 HDMI ports on my TV and did not want to have to unplug a cable when I wanted to use the 4th device. I plugged this item into a HDMI port and connected 2 DVD players. There was no signal when both HDMI cables were plugged in, even when one device was turned off. I tried another HDMI port, and connected a DVD player and my laptop; same problem. There is no point having the connector if I have to disconnect one of the cables to get the connector to work.

    It is a JUNK

    I received this device a few days ago, and I try to hook it up with my PC Monitor and my big TV so that I expect that I can either watch movies on TV or I can use it while I am surfing on internet( my intension is ONLY to use my TV set or the PC monitor at ONE time NOT to use it at same time, that means I would either turn on the PC monitor or to turn on the TV set at one time), it indicates that this HDMI splitter DONOT work at all and I just get a BLACK screen no matter I only turn on the PC monitor or the TV set.. I am a old man and I am not good with PC thus I waited for a few days waiting for a young PC geek to come to my home to double check it. Today the young PC geek CONFIRMS this device DONOT work, as he tested by using the HDMI port from my PC unit to either ONE of the PC ...

    Simple and inexpensive, but only useful for certail things.

    I run 2 monitors and my laptop has only 1 HDMI port. I need to run Excel on 1 monitor and Power-Point on the other. When hooked up, this adapter shows same program on both monitors. If I try starting a second program it turns off 1 monitor. Seems it is only of any use if you want to run the same program on multiple monitors.

    Can not provide sound

    Ran it from ps4 slim, then ran new hdmi cable to tv for picture from port 1 and then ran new hdmi cable to sound bar from port 2, when I plugged into my sound bar it killed the video side. Makes no sense seeing how hdmi supports video and sound. All in All it’s a good concept but did not work for my needs, if they can figure out the problem then it would be a Golden life saver.
