Obviously it s not going to give the same reception as the longer antenna, but it does VERY well, making it more comfortable to tote around the radio... Theft investigation was created with Postal service and investigation determined I was not at fault and that the package never made it to my mailbox!!! Seller insisted that because the delivery service indicated that it was delivered that it was actually delivered and IT WAS NOT DELIVERED!!! I tool the time to wrote to USPS, EBAY & the seller to implement an investigation. SELLER WAS RUDE.
