      Good if you don't mind salty taste

      It has a bitter taste, a little salty, because of the baking soda, and has a strong flavor in mouth, but it is effective cleaning teeth. Won't make your teeth white as movie stars, but it removes some of the stains.

      Not what was advertised

      If you like the toothpaste in the photo, just know that it’s not what you’ll get in the package. This one uses some of the same words but it’s a completely different taste - not ‘fresh mint’ but ‘crisp mint’. Not the light sweet mint taste of the one pictured, instead a harsh menthol taste. I could have bought what I purchased in stores and for less.

      Whitens well, but inconsistent in thickness.

      I like the whitening effect and generally only use Arm and Hammer toothpaste. What I found with the first tube is that the liquid and the baking soda seem to separate to some degree in the tube. Sometimes it comes out watery and sometimes very thick. I have tried massaging the tube, but that only works for a little while. If not for that, I would rate it with 5 stars.
