      Wireless feature gimped by software updates

      Before I get to the meat of it, this mouse is great when it's just wired. Feels great in the hand, the thumb buttons rest right in the center of my thumb, and has enough weight to have some push back, but light enough to not feel like a brick on my desk. Wireless though, Razer has shot themselves in the foot over the years with it's Synapse updates. There was one update from years ago that messed up the firmware of the mouse to have the DPI reset and never save custom settings when in wireless mode. It will be stuck in what seems to be 400 DPI and it's awful. I wanted to use this mouse for both wired and wireless, but Razer just came in and said nope. I would just go for the Mamba Tournament Edition, save a lot of money for a hard wired version of the same design.

      Razer Mamba Wireless Gaming Laser Mouse 5600 DPI (Wireless version) is a lot smaller and lower than this new version. It's bigger and feels very 'clunky'... It works good, but you won't get the same feel as the older one.

      Great Gaming Mouse but Expensive

      If you are on a budget, i'd opt for the razer death adder. However, if you have some money to spend, the razer mamba is a great mouse to use and have. It has adjustable dpi settings that are easy to access in the middle of gameplay and during use, the chroma is a nice aesthetic touch, and the profile of the mouse is very comfortable for hands of all sizes.

      Razer mamba 3.5g/ 4g

      I purchased this to replace partof my razer mamba mouse that was destroyed from alcohol and the plastic layer was coming off. Ive seen videos involving sanding and using various methods to restore, but nothing beats having it brand new again. Replacing the top was easy and well worth the $$. Now my old razer mamba i purchased in 2011 feels like new.
