I haven't installed it yet, but it is new and tested by the manufacturer. I am confident it will be just fine. If you're not a fairly competent mechanic, you should not try installing it in a Toyota Prius yourself. Access and safety to install it is the main issue. Several have posted Youtube Videos to aid the novice. Give yourself time and Good Luck!
