When sitting on the table, the bowl sits a little differently but doesn't affect the use of the device. 4 inch is the smallest I would use. My default pipe is 4 1/2 inches, which is perfect. I can't wait to see the color changes and the design in the glass once it's used a lot more. Overall, it's a great 👍 piece.
