    67mm filter fits on mine. It's a good deal and gets you out there without a lot spent.

    I'm surprised at the image quality. I've not measured lines/mm or anything like that, but took test images and compared them to other glass I have. Resolution is good, contrast is good, I think you'll get a solid image if you limit the light coming into the front of the lens. Flare is off the charts, if there is a bright item in front of you, it will be reflected in the middle of the image. The filter size is 67mm, I was fortunate that another lens I own uses that size and I simply tried on the different sizes I have on hand. I've ordered a UV filter to protect the front element and a metal lens hood to see if it will reduce the stray light on the image. Using the doubler you need a lot of light, but I still get nice images. Again, you are best off if you are shooting the brightest thing ...

    Replacement for 450mm

    Order another 450 lens and the aperture did not work, trashed it and saw a 500mm on line and ordered it. Works fine
