      Hope they last longer than 6 mos, expensive

      First time we have replaced the filter in the side by side GE refrigerator we purchased this year. Weird how it doesn't click in to place straight but at a slight angle. No matter how many times we tried to get it aligned vertically it just doesn't, even when trying to put the old filter back into place same scenario. Hope this one lasts longer than the original, they are suppose to last 6 months, but our first one lasted 5 mos. These filters are expensive, cheaper on Ebay somewhat when purchased in multi pack.

      No luck, Never again

      Have bought 2 of these filters on EBay and both got an err code and wouldn’t dispense water. Got replacements from the hardware store and they both worked. Not sure about the 1 st one but the 2 nd was Made in China. Both from the hardware store were made in the USA. Won’t be buying again unless I can see the box and where it was manufactured.

      GE refrigerator filter

      It is the filter I needed for my refrigerator and it was at a good price. It is not to be cleaned, has to be replaced after about 6 months, so cleaning is not an option and it is one size, so compact doesn't come into play.

      WAY less expensive than at other stores and are the genuine product.

      These fit my refrigerator perfectly. It is a GE model. They are brand new and still in the original wrappers.

      Product works well

      I know one of the previous reviews stated that they received an error light with the other one that didn’t have the chip. I was a bit concerned. But I installed the filter, ran some water in a glass to get out the air bubbles, and so far, no error light or any other issues
