    A shot in the Dark!

    The Sony Cybershot DSC-H9 is an awesome camera for the beginner to intermediate photographer. One of the features is this camera has is called 'Night-Shot'. It allows the user to photograph in total darkness. The DSC-H9 is also equipped with a built in light meter for auto ISO adjustment. But don't worry, it can be disabled for those special shots that require longer exposures. This camera is a step up from its H7 brother (No light meter or Night shot). But like its brother has ability to be used with 72 mm and 56mm add on lenses this camera is great for family outings, camping trips and other events where you want to have above average pictures. Add a tripod and the use of the included remote control the user is enabled to be in the photograph. Pictures are easily printed at camera shops ...

    So happy!

    I always had a love for my old DSC-H9 as opposed to many more modern cameras and especially phone cameras, so when the focus sensor got out of whack and I found out the repair costs would be way more than the camera was worth, I was heartbroken. That’s when I found this one! It arrived in amazing condition - barely looked used at all, works perfectly, came with a fully charged battery and wall charger. It also came with a case I actually like and want to carry! :)

    Lightweight with great features

    I started out to use this camera for simple pictures, but It is really easy to use, I want to do more with it now. You can have stills or video. I would recommend this to anyone for a first camera.

    I was using a Sony DSC-H7 which I purchased new in 2008. Very nice camera until the accident ! It was ruined when it fell into the water at the beach! Believe me, I had lost a close companion! I tried substituting a smaller Sony and it was also a very good and inexpensive camera. After a year I decided to try and replace my old Sony DSC-H7. I had bought various items on Ebay in the past 8-9 years and decided to try on Ebay because there was never any problems with past purchases. I was always pleased. Ebay did not let me down! I was able to find an almost brand new Sony DSC-H9 bundled with all the extras for under $100. Talk about being pleased! My old friend has returned and even upgraded ! Thanks, EBAY !
