I’ve bent a few pairs of cranks just from pedal strikes because of the extra weight of the bike but these have taken a few hits and are holding up fine even though I am over the stated weight limit. The short length is what I bought them for, for the extra ground clearance but it doesn’t feel at all weird having gone to them from 175mm cranks the way I thought it might.
