      This brace should have a metal strip in the center of the back. It currently has a very soft, spongy center, which is comfortable, but doesn't really give the support I had hoped for. I would return it for a refund but the package included a message that said if what I had ordered was the wrong size, there's no need to return it, they will just send me another for free. I think that says something about the supplier AND product that does not inspire confidence. Don't waste your money
