It took 2 1/2 hours to get the white caulk out with a pick and screwdriver but get all you can that way. Solvents will soften the white caulk enough to rub residue off, but they will also soften the black plastic. The black plastic rehardened. I used goof off. Acetone would be way too harsh on the black plastic.
