- m***t (428)- Feedback left by buyer.Past yearVerified purchaseFirst time stepped on the pedal, cover worked as it should. After that, pedal lifts cover along with rim below it! It's an easy fix. The upper black rim is not fully in its groove. It made a loud snap when forced downward, now it works fine. BTW the dashpot is near top of unit, hangs down from near the hinge. It appears the whole thing disassembles by pulling a little brown plastic pin. It's also near the hinge, but I didn't try it.
