I can use them as external storage, and I don't need to transfer their contents to another HD. The price was not outlandish, and the shipping time was less than estimated. You can't operate it for too long, as it does seem to get very warm, and the power button will glow red as a warning to shut it down fir awhile. this being the only negative trait.

One touch Copying to a larger drive leaves extra space, and I wasn't able to extend the drives to use this space. For larger drives it is best to use a software to do the copying.
