    Works great but...

    I was able to remove 8 wheel bearings in about 20 minutes with this tool. It gripped the ID of the bearing well as long as you seat the wedge. It took me two slip outs before I got a good sense for how much to seat the tool. Fast learning curve. During the last bearing removal the tool destroyed the inner race. The damaged race expanded the bearing ID which allowed for the wedge to expand the extractor so much that it permanently deformed. I attempted to force the extractor back into size using a table vise but I'm not having much luck so it looks like that part will have to be replaced. Not happy about that but the tool worked very well and I'm satisfied overall.

    Good Toolbox Addition

    Drove bearings out from motorcycle wheel as designed without heating hub. Well made, and drives bearings out evenly, That said, the tool did prematurely fall out of bearings a few times from each bearing removed (having to be reinserted and locked in again) before successfully driving bearings out. This tool can also be used to loosen replacement bearings that are driven slightly too tightly on misaligned spacer.
