It will quite possibly outlive me. But that is dependent on the quality of the battery. I was happy that it fit like a glove. And me, being a guy who finds ways to salvage good materials, took the original battery pack apart and removed the individual batteries which were still functioning. Not sure what I'll use them for, but I'm a bit of a hoarder if I can use it later.
