    Smooth Operator

    Durable? I wouldn't throw it, kick it or have a catch with it, but as far as running it on the tracks, yeah. If you use it as intended, which is to run it around the tracks for a little entertainment and visual interest, it should be entertaining to watch. This is an older LGB item, and works very well, keeping your eyes focused on the little man pumping up and down as if he was really operating the hand car.
