    IF YOU BELIEVE THAT THIS WILL EAT UP ALL OF THE RUST AND ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS RINSE IT OFF, WIPE IT DRY AND YOUR DONE, YOUR SADLY MISTAKEN. 1) YOU'LL NEED PLASTIC GLOVES. 2)PATIENCE. 3) MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS. 4)ELBOW GREECE. IN MY CASE I USED IT ON A BADLY PITTED AND RUSTED HATCHET. IT GOT RID OF THE SURFACE RUST AFTER 2 APPLICATIONS (FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS). THE PITTING REMAINS BEHIND. WHAT THIS IS BEST DESIGNED FOR IS SOMETHING THAT HAS SURFACE RUST ON IT AND (NO PITTING), THAT YOU CAN SMOOTHLY APPLY THIS ON AND EASILY WIPE OFF. THE MARKETING IS STRONGER THAN THE PERFORMANCE!     Good to know

    I learned about naval jelly just recently. I used it to clean stains from flower vases. Nothing I tried before had worked. It took the stains off and the vases look new. It did what I wanted it to do.
