I bought this because it's supposed to bring good luck. The holes for the mounting screws are behind the "knocker" so it has to be lifted up to screw in the mounting screws. I used a self-leveling laser to get the knocker level & plumb. The door knocker was shipped very quickly. It came wrapped and packaged really well.
