Between medium and hard stiffness, feels closer to hard to me, good point control and bend profile. My first one is holding up well under heavy use. Calibrated digital scale says 160 grams (not 142) before cutting for pistol grip but is consistent between blades (+/- 1 gram). Description says FIE, not FIE stamped and price says otherwise. BUT good blades, enjoying them, will buy more when needed. Blades now shipping in sturdy cardboard tube.

My only criticism is the packaging is flimsy and could be boxed better.
