I gave instructiions on my purchase that I did not want damascus blade and wanted the blade mirror polished with the rest of my blades. It is not a rapier as described. It is too heavy and looks like hell. The only good part is the handle over the tang. As a serious collector it has no place. It would appear by looking at the blade that it was done by an amature. The question now is what am I going to do with it. This sword is a bad job. Gerald Richardson.
