      One of the best, regardless of price.

      First off I like Yamaha AVR receivers. This one offers very good sound quality coupled with excellent surround sound. For an AVR receiver, it doesn't get much better than this! Buy with confidence!

      Two Drawbacks but a great unit

      The only two drawbacks are the hard to read front panel display and the impossible to follow Owner’s Manual. I’ve owned many Yamaha Receivers over the years and I’ve never seen anything more confusing than the manual for the RX-V1900! Previous manuals have been far easier to follow and understand. I’m a little disappointed.
