    I love this housing...

    I installed 2 of these a while back, and they are great. I love the ability to see the quality of the filter through the clear housing. They are also much easier to unscrew and replace filter than the older type we have...the gasket and seal is on top of the housing. I had no problem getting the threads tight without leaks.

    Stay away - defective threads on connectors leak

    This filter is build quality is horrible. The threads on connectors are so much off from american pipe thread standards, they leak pretty much all the time even if you use pipe dope, teflon tape, or combination of those. God forbid from using the filter in business, you will be risking your reputation and property damage suits.
