    A fair degree of skill with the use of one's hands will be required

    The installation of this aerial requires a fair degree of skill with the use of one's hands and both basic mechanical and electrical knowledge. The aerial cable terminates with a female plug for which there appears to be no UK matching male plug so this has to be cut off and replaced with an F type co-axial connector. To do this wind insulation type around the existing 4.0 mm diameter of the outer insulation until it becomes 6.0 - 7.0mm dia. This will enable connection to the existing aerial cable in your Caravan or Motor Home using another F-Type connector. Once connected it works very well indeed but I have noticed that the external aerial, when shortened to its minimum length for travelling, does not engage in the lower clip very well.     A good replacement caravan aerial.

    A good replacement aerial for our caravan. I broke the one on the caravan which was original equipment and was pleased to find this identical one. It was fairly easy to fit, but involved removing a panel in the caravan and swapping the connections.

    Quality bit of kit - recommended.

    Excellent product that arrived very quickly. It was was very easy to install. Had a reception issue with my existing aerial not receiving a strong signal, once the unit was installed there was a marked improvement - back to normal.

    Caravan radio desperation

    I bought this item to fit to my laughingly high spec 2019 Caravan (make withheld) to overcome the abysmal reception from the factory fitted aerial system shared with the TV. I had this product fitted as original manufacturers equipment on my previous 2011 Caravan which worked perfectly and reliably for the 8 years of my ownership. I have not been disappointed with the results of retro fitting this product to my new van, it works perfectly and has improved radio reception to an acceptable standard. I can recommend this aerial as a solution for anyone with similar issues.

    Buy this as a replacement for a none power one feels well made nice and small in size fitted well I now get all stations the pull out is a nice size fits nice back down in its park place the only one thing is could of had a clip to keep in place as there could be movement when travelling but saying that it's not moved yet am well pleased with it i recommed is a excellent buy
