    Works but needs improvement

    A few days after install, the threaded studs popped out of the handle bases and the stud and latch tabs were laying on the bed floor of the truck with the camper shell door unsecured. Removing the handles to inspect revealed that there is a hole in both the shaft & the handle housing that was supposed to have a pin through them to hold these two pieces together. Installing a rigid cotter pin was not possible as the casting interfered and would have had to have been notched out to do so. Installing some light gauge flexible stainless steel wire and looping it through several times cures the issue. Do this before installing and you will be fine. I also took these to a locksmith to have them re-keyed as millions of these are out there with this same key code. Re-keying these is not ...

    We had to provide screws , ours were rusty and inside plate

    We thought we were getting complete replacement parts but everything didn’t work. Still needed to use old inside plate and mounting screws but we got it to work.

    Just what we needed

    Was looking for this with the threaded shaft on them for a customer as they needed new locks for their Topper on their old 98 GMC Sierra Pickup Truck they use for construction as they need to have it locked with the tools in the back.
