Could definitely fit better, there’s room for more engagement overall with the steering column and I feel as though the cross section inside is also short of total length could be. Used CA glue on the two fasteners to prevent them working loose but there’s still a fair bit of sideways flex that could be improved. Eventually I’ll buy from another source to attempt a better fit.
