    Item was exactly as advertised and it does have the full 2 year Shure warranty. Unit condition was new, without accessories, and it was installed and worked as required. The receiver was shipped the next day after the order was placed; however, delivery of the unit took 18 days due to a misprinted label by Amazon and shipment issues within the USPS. The price and value was very good compared some of the other sellers and the main issue was that the seller is an authorized dealer.

    Thes P rails do grow on you!

    I replaced a Gretsch Filtertron Neck and humbucker sized P90 Bridge pickup setup in a semi-hollowbody guitar. I connected the P-rails through a mini switch which would make the neck and bridge both P90 in the "up" position and then the neck as a blade "Strat single coil" and the bridge a humbucker in the "down" position. This is not a real hot pickup and it took awhile to get a feel for the tones.But,it's grown on me and I'd never go back to my last setup. The tone selections you have are really the big plus. If I want more "edge" it's easily done with a pedal. These P-rails are really a one of a kind solution for versatility out of a single guitar!

    Good value in a versatile pickup

    I like the P Rails pickups quite a bit, overall. There are better sounding P90s, humbuckers and rail pickups available, but to have all 3 options (4 with the right switching) on a single guitar allows for an amazing amount of musical versatility. To my ear the P90 coils sound best, and there are useful tones to be found in all of the other coil combinations under the right conditions. Even if there were only a two coil combinations that were useful, that would still represent a great value. I found the height adjustment to be critical in getting the best tones from them, and also highly recommend the Seymour Duncan Triple Shot mounting rings for maximum versatility.
