VHT wrinkle paint
Great paint,have always used vht wrinkle paint for valvecovers,intake manifolds and and many more things. Pocket Knife handles,"great grip" have used the black wrinkle for motorcycle covers. All comes out great! * YOU MUST* really prep your part I:e media blast,you need a good rough Surface for it to stick good. Follow the directions and bake it at the said temp. Use your wife's kitchen oven! It does NOT stink up the house! Mine didn't even know I did it,put tin foil over one of her baking sheets and place part on it! >tip> mask off any area you don't want painted "painters tape" paint part let sit for a few hours than carefully remove tape and bake partGreat paint,have always used vht wrinkle paint for valvecovers,intake manifolds and and many more things. VHT wrinkle paint is a staple of any car enthusiast that likes to make things a little different. Often used for valve covers and other obvious engine parts. I used this on my intake manifold, amd a different color on my valve covers and intake tube. Take your time, prime, amd do it according to the directions and get great results! Awesome stuff. While painting 3 Dimensional surfaces, the wrinkle can be unpredictable and leave lateral surfaces with little or no wrinkle. You can remedy this by having a way to rotate the item being coated while painting. A work around is the surfaces that don't wrinkle as desired can be recoated and with good feathering skill, you can blend extra coats, trying to complete the wrinkle. Get Ready to be patient as this stuff takes a good long time to dry, and a finish cure in the oven. I have used both black and red on Honda valve covers with really nice results with a lot of work and patience.Awesome stuff.
