A negative I heard about the Pure Tone jack is that it grips the plug too tightly but this is not the case with mine. I tested it with a 1/4" mono plug and it was quite secure but easily released with a firm tug. I installed it in my jack plate and am impatiently waiting on my loaded pick guard to arrive so I can solder it together and test it out.
