    Great quality sprouting lids. I had been using the metal screens inside rings, but I wanted to get away from the metal. These are hard plastic and seem very durable. It's easy to get water into the jars through the indentation in the center of the lids. I like the ridge that keeps the lid raised above the plate I set it upside down on. No need for a separate holder to hold the jar to drain.

    Purchased these sprouting lids after the metal lids I previously owned became too rusty to continue using. Water flows freely in and out of the lids making rinsing and draining simple and easy. With the sturdy plastic construction I don't have to worry about rusting, and they'll probably last a lifetime. The design allows water to drain perfectly when the jar is tilted, or upside down. Jar sprouters will be pleased with these lids.

    No Rust From Metallic Screen

    These screw on jar covers work perfectly. I am rinsing the growing sprouts more than 2 times per day. There is no rust coming off of a metallic mesh screen. And, to date, no mold has formed. The plastic is sturdy. And the little profusion at the top ensures that all the water gets drained out.
