      Old one needed replacement

      I have a laptop almost 10 years old so I am was sure the CMOS battery was starting to fail as the time was consistenlty off. I figured a new CMOS battery would be easy to replace. Unfortunately, Dell put the battery connection hardware on the battery instead of the actual hardware on the motherboard making it harder to just replace the CMOS battery with a standard one. Luckily and fortunately, ebay provided the needed CMOS battery which appears to be compatible with my ancient laptop.

      Lithium Battery Saves The Day
